First autonomous vehicles start operating at Tallinn Airport
As of January 24th, Tallinn Airport has officially begun utilising autonomous vehicles supplied by Auve Tech OÜ for the transportation of Magnetic MRO (Estonian aviation maintenance company) employees and small package deliveries. This marks the introduction of cutting-edge technology in the airport’s ground transportation operations.
Auve Tech, the first Estonian manufacturer of self-driving vehicles, specialises in last-mile transportation in pre-mapped areas. The company’s electric self-driving buses have a seating capacity of eight and are equipped with state-of-the-art sensors, such as LiDARs and cameras, that provide 360-degree visibility and enable swift response to any situation.
