Vienna Airport supports Ukrainian Airports

Vienna Airport has announced a partnership with the Association “Airports of Ukraine” (AAUCA) to strengthen the Ukrainian aviation industry’s operational capabilities. As part of the collaboration, Vienna Airport will share know‑how in areas such as air traffic management, ground handling and safety procedures, helping to rebuild and modernise critical infrastructure of Ukraine.

In addition, Vienna Airport will donate essential equipment to its Ukrainian partners. This contribution will improve reliability and safety at the recipient airports, which have faced full closure and resulting significant challenges due to conflict‑related damage.

Vienna Airport aims to foster long‑term relationships and support Ukraine’s aviation recovery through training programmes, workshops, and on-site visits. This initiative underlines Vienna Airport’s commitment to European solidarity and the broader goal of maintaining resilient air transport links.
