Tirana Airport commits to ACI EUROPE’s Net Zero pledge
During ACI EUROPE Director General Olivier Jankovec’s recent visit, Tirana International Airport signed the ACI EUROPE Net Zero Resolution, reinforcing its commitment to reaching net-zero carbon emissions. The agreement represents another step in the airport’s ongoing sustainability journey and aligns with broader European aviation climate goals.
The resolution reflects the airport’s efforts to reduce emissions across its operations, building on measures already implemented, including energy efficiency and environmental management. It also underscores the importance of European-level collaboration to support the sector’s transition towards lower emissions.
Tirana Airport describes this milestone as part of a broader strategy to strengthen its environmental performance while continuing to grow.
