TAV Airports awarded ‘Great Place to Work’ certificate
TAV Airports has announced that it has been recognised as a ‘great place to work’ by the Great Place to Work Turkey Institute.
The news comes as many airports struggle to attract new staff to replace those that they were forced to let go, or who quit or retired during the darkest days of the global COVID pandemic.
To win its award, TAV Airports met the criteria of a workplace with a high culture of trust in the ‘Great Place to Work’ program conducted by the institute, which assessed employees’ experience of the company’s culture and recognised as Great Place to Work Certified company.
TAV Airports’ chief human resources officer, Hakan Öker, said: “As TAV Airports, we work every day to provide the best travel experience for thousands of passengers around the world. We know that passenger satisfaction depends on the satisfaction of our employees.
“Today, we operate 15 different airports in eight different countries. As we grow on a global scale, we draw our competitive strength from our knowledge. We always strive to do what is fair for employees and right for the company.
“We are pleased to have received this certification as a result of our employees’ evaluations. The programme allowed us to objectively analyse the perceptions and expectations of our employees. In this sense, the programme was also an educational experience for us.”
