ACI EUROPE rings in the New Year at the European Parliament

The annual ACI EUROPE New Year Reception at the European Parliament was the perfect occasion for our core airport and World Business Partner member network to come together and usher in the start of 2023.

Hosted by Members of the European Parliament Mr Marian-Jean Marinescu, Mr István Ujhelyi and Mr José Ramón Bauzá Diaz, the event attracted key stakeholders from the European aviation industry and regulators in the transport and aviation sectors.

The event’s key highlight was the speech by our association’s President, Javier Marín. His remarks spanned the current difficulties faced by European airports, in particular addressing the specific challenge of the funding required to achieve the airport industry’s net zero carbon targets and compliance with Fit for 55.
