Rainbows in the skies – Swedavia’s airports celebrate diversity and inclusion
Swedavia is celebrating Pride season by raising the Pride flag at its airports and participating in Stockholm Pride in August, alongside social media campaigns highlighting the importance of diversity.
The Swedish airport operator strives to achieve equality in the workplace and works to promote an inclusive and engaging culture, having received several awards for their diversity and inclusion work. Airports across the world are celebrating Pride Month too, with social media campaigns and decorations in terminals.
Swedavia’s director of business support, Marie Wiksborg, notes ‘Swedavia becomes stronger through diversity, and we are working to create and maintain an open and inclusive work culture. Inclusion breeds innovation and new ways of thinking. Everyone should feel welcome here – employees, partners and, of course, our passengers.’
