The Top 20 busiest airports in the World were confirmed with the release of ACI World’s final traffic dataset for 2021, released July 25th. The report lays bare the devastating effect of the pandemic on Europe’s airports, with only Istanbul (IST) appearing in the top 20, ranking 14th.
