Organisations in Europe rally around new air traffic management service delivery model
A range of organisations, including ACI EUROPE World Business Partners ADB Safegate and Collins Aerospace, are the latest signatories of a joint statement supporting a shift to a new service delivery model for air traffic management (ATM) in Europe, spearheaded by the SESAR Joint Undertaking.
A key component of the European ATM Master Plan, a cloud-based, data-driven and service-oriented architecture based service delivery model promises to unlock greater flexibility, resilience and scalability. Ultimately, it aims to make the aviation in Europe a more adaptable, resilient and fast-evolving system. By developing an open, interoperable environment, the system will foster greater innovation through the adoption of modular, multi-vendor solutions.
