Major job fair at Brussels Airport highlights economic opportunities in aviation
A major job fair held by Brussels Airport in February presented 400 vacancies available at the airport for eager Belgian jobseekers.
As a major economic driver for Belgium – with Brussels Airports estimating they contribute 30,000 direct jobs and 55,000 indirect jobs to the Belgian economy – their impact transcends the boundaries of the airport.
Lauding a successful increase in inter-regional job mobility, with recent studies indicating that 31% of workers at Brussels Airport travel in from outside the Flemish region, the event hoped to encourage more Belgian talent to join the aviation sector and contribute to Brussels Airport’s positive growth.
