Here is a snapshot of ACI EUROPE’s external engagements in the past weeks.

23-25 February 2022: Part of ACI EUROPE Membership & Events team flew to Tampere (Finland) for the CONNECT Route Development Forum. So happy to finally be able to meet with our member airports again.

22 February 2022: Our Director General, Mr Olivier Jankovec, travelled to Sofia, Bulgaria. He met with Mr Jesus Caballero, CEO of Sofia Airport management company SOF Connect and the airport board.
Together, they also had an encounter with the Bulgarian Minister of Transport and Communications, Mr Nikolay Sabev.
The main topic has been Sofia Airport’s regeneration blueprint and the challenges that airports are facing in these particular times.

04 February 2022: The French Presidency of the Council of European Union has held the European Aviation Summit and we have been invited to participate. The Toulouse Declaration on aviation decarbonisation has been announced at the event.
