Finavia launches 2026-2028 Sustainability Programme to strengthen value creation
Finavia has launched a new Sustainability Programme for 2026-2028, aimed at enhancing sustainable value creation across its airport network. The updated programme builds on past achievements and sets a renewed focus on environmental, social and governance (ESG) priorities as part of the company’s long-term strategy.
The programme identifies key areas for action, including reducing emissions, promoting biodiversity, responsible procurement, circular economy principles, and social inclusion and safety at airports. It also emphasises the importance of engaging partners, customers and local communities in sustainability efforts.
Finavia highlights that the new programme aligns with global sustainability frameworks and builds on existing progress, such as earlier carbon reduction targets and responsible business practices. The goal is to create long-term value not only for the company but also for travellers, employees and society at large.
More details are available in Finavia’s official press release.
