European airports lead the way in service quality with ASQ recognition
ACI World, in partnership with Amadeus, announced the winners of the Airport Service Awards (ASQ) for 2023, including 28 European airports leading the way in enhancing passenger experience. Based on passenger feedback, the ASQ Awards emphasise the importance of quality, sustainability, and customer service in today’s travel landscape.
Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport in Turkey and Rome Fiumicino Airport in Italy were among only 9 airports globally who won an ASQ Award in all 5 departure categories:
- Best Airport by Size and Region
- Airport with the Most Dedicated Staff
- Easiest Airport Journey
- Most Enjoyable Airport
- Cleanest Airport
In addition, Croatia’s Zagreb International Airport was the only airport in Europe to get inducted into the ACI World Director General’s Roll of Excellence – a recognition given to airports that have won multiple ASQ awards over a five-year period in the last 10 years.
