EUROCONTROL releases busiest city pair data for 2024
EUROCONTROL have released data for 2024 highlighting the busiest city pairs: the cities that are connected with the most flights.
In Europe, the busiest pairing – for the third year in a row – was Dublin-London with an average of 91 daily flights in 2024. In second place, Amsterdam-London saw an average of 84 flights, with Antalya-Istanbul in third place (69 daily flights). London-New York and Edinburgh-London take joint fourth place with 65 daily flights each.
Other European routes in the top 100 city pairs worldwide include London-Milan (64), Milan-Paris (62), Gran Canaria-Tenerife (62), Nice-Paris (60), London-Paris (59), Istanbul-Izmir (58) and Barcelona-London (58).
The busiest city pair worldwide was Jeju – Seoul in South Korea.
