EUROCONTROL launches first release of integrated Network Management programme
EUROCONTROL’s Network Manager has launched the first phase of its digital transformation initiative, the iNM (integrated Network Management) programme. ‘Wave 0’ introduces a brand-new digital platform – the foundation of EUROCONTROL’s new operational systems, as well as 3 replatformed key Digital Products: the Code Allocation List (CAL), the Route Availability Document (RAD) and the Dynamic Network Plan (the DNP).
Wave 0 represents a digital transformation of EUROCONTROL’s key digital products, designed to replace legacy operational systems. The products will contribute to a modernised European air traffic management system, increasing the efficiency, safety, sustainability and capacity of the European aviation network.
These tools support various aviation stakeholders by offering updated routing, SSR code assignments, and next-day network overviews. The program’s infrastructure, now hosted on Microsoft Azure, provides scalability and security, incorporating user-friendly multi-factor authentication to access all Digital Products via the Digital Platform.
With Wave 0’s completion, focus shifts to Waves 1 and 2, beginning with eEAD shadow operations at the end November.
