CPK and Polish Airports partner to build new national hub
Centralny Port Komunikacyjny (CPK) and Polish Airports (PPL) have signed a Letter of Intent to collaborate on the construction of Poland’s new central airport. This partnership aims to leverage the expertise of both entities in developing a modern and efficient transportation hub.
PPL will acquire a minority stake in CPK.Lotnisko, the subsidiary responsible for the airport’s construction and management. This collaboration leverages Polish expertise and resources, drawing inspiration from successful airport development models seen in other European countries.
The new airport, scheduled for completion in 2032, will serve as a crucial link in Poland’s transportation network, connecting air travel with high-speed rail and other modes of transport. This ambitious project is expected to significantly enhance Poland’s connectivity, stimulate economic growth, and position the country as a significant aviation hub within Europe.
