Belgrade Airport begins final testing of new facilities

Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport has begun Operational Readiness and Airport Transfer (ORAT) testing of its new central processor building.

In late February, the airport simulated check-in procedures and handling of five flights. The new facility will feature check-in desks, commercial space, passport control, security, arrivals hall, and baggage handling facilities. Air Serbia plans to improve the passenger ground experience through the use of the new central processor..

Additionally, Belgrade Airport has introduced a new  runway with radio navigation and landing aids, as well as changes to navigation procedures at the airport, which were rolled out until 23rd of March.
