ACI World announce winners of Technology Innovation Awards
At the Airports Innovate conference in Rome, Italy, ACI World and Amadeus announced the winners of the prestigious Technology Innovation Awards. The Awards celebrate the outstanding airport technology initiatives and leadership that are shaping the future of air transport.
Dallas Love Field Airport won the award for Best Innovation in Airport Passenger Related Processes for its use of 3D LED holographic signage fan displays, while Toronto Pearson International Airport received the accolade for Best Innovation in Airport Operations and Installations Management for its AI-driven optimisation of turnaround operations.
Emanuele Calà, Senior Vice President of Transformation and Technology at Aeroporti di Roma, was named Best Airport Innovation Leader (Innovation). A new category, Best Small and Emerging Airport Innovation, was awarded to Gerald R. Ford International Airport for its Ford Launchpad for Innovative Technologies and Entrepreneurship (FLITE).
