ACI EUROPE welcomes new educational establishment as part of its membership
At the end of November, ACI EUROPE welcomed the Institute for University Training and Research in Air Transport in Aix-en-Provence, France, as its brand-new member.
The Institute for University Training and Research in Air Transport (IFURTA – Pôle transports, Aix-Marseille University School of Law) was created in 1976 in partnership with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC) and Air France.
The aim of the IFURTA diplomas (bac+5: Master 2 Air Transport Law and Management | DESU Air Transport Management) is to train high-level, multi-skilled executives who are immediately operational in all branches of the air transport sector: general management, legal, commercial or financial departments of air transport companies or airports.
The courses offered by IFURTA can be followed by initial training, continuous training, apprenticeship, or professionalisation contracts. The programme can be followed alongside the Advanced University Diploma in Air Transport Management (DESUMATA), which usefully complements the professional practices taught in the Master’s program. DESUMATA is designed for students who are not in work-study programmes.
