EASA publishes first Easy Access rules for Ground Handling

EASA has released the first Easy Access Rules for Ground Handling, based on Regulations (EU) 2025/23 and 2025/20.

These rules set out the requirements for authorities overseeing ground handling organisations and for the safe provision of ground handling services. They also include the accompanying acceptable means of compliance and guidance material introduced through recent ED Decisions (ED Decisions 2025/006/R and 2025/007/R).

The rules are available in both PDF and machine-readable XML via the eRules platform, which will keep them regularly updated. Feedback can be submitted through the Easy Access Rules section of the EASA contact form.
